Residents of Knoydart, a remote Scottish peninsula, have marked the 10th anniversary of their ownership of the estate they live on, after years of conflict with a succession of private landlords. The Knoydart Foundation now owns and manages the 17,000-acre Knoydart estate on the west coast. There is no road into Knoydart. You arrive by boat or on foot over the hills.
